Our lead pastors, Cody and Tirsha Thornbury, have been living in a trailer on the property for the past year and a half. They originally moved into the trailer to take care of Fermata as it was being established. And now, their previous living situation is no longer available for the family to return to.

As a church we are first of all working on getting all SIX Thornbury family members into a rental home! The next step after that will be to work toward a more permanent plan for them and also for Pastor Dave.

1 Timothy 5:17-18 tell us, “The elders who direct the affairs of the church well are worthy of double honor, especially those whose work is preaching and teaching. For Scripture says, “Do not muzzle an ox while it is treading out the grain,” and “The worker deserves his wages." With this exhortation from the Lord, we KNOW we have a blessed opportunity and a responsibility to take care of those who take care of and minister to us. And Tirsha and Cody Thornbury are beyond worthy of this double honor.
