Deliverance

What is Deliverance?

Deliverance, also known as exorcism, is the ministry of expelling demonic spirits from those suffering from demonization.

Can a Christian have a Demon?

The short answer is yes, but don’t be afraid because “deliverance is the children’s bread” (Mark 7:27). Jesus ministered probably thousands of deliverances as the Bible states that He went from synagogue to synagogue preaching and casting out demons (Mark 1:39), amongst the various places He was approached by others in need of freedom.

Deliverance in the OT was the delivering from one place to another; out from bondage into freedom (physically). Jesus exclusively brought this ministry to not deliver Israel out of bondage but to deliver the bondage out of Israel. Everyone Jesus had gone to had recognized Him as the Messiah and believed in who He was. If you’re a child of God, deliverance was given to you so can be free in the walk of becoming Christ-like.

Inner Healing

What is Inner Healing?

Inner Healing is the ministry of healing from traumas & spiritual wounds caused by the effects of sin and being sinned against.

Why do we need Inner Healing?

Jesus not only died to forgive sins but also for our total healing. The greek word Sozo is used many times when Jesus either healed someone or delivered them of demonic spirits. Sozo means to heal, to rescue, to deliver, to save, to preserve. Just like in deliverance ministry, inner healing ministry is apart of the Atonement. Through the cross, Jesus provided our spiritual healing/cleansing of sin through His blood being shed but also by the stripes He took, His body was broken for our physical and soul healing.

Inner Healing is the ministering to of one’s soul (mind, will, emotions), bringing broken pieces and un-sanctified places back to Jesus through the power of the Holy Spirit.

We all of a testimony and throughout the years we have all experienced events that have placed its mark in our hearts, whether good or bad. The bad events often times lead to trauma which lead to character formation and may even control who we have become and what our worldview is. Inner Healing is a vital portion of the sanctification process that aids in our life of becoming Christ-like.
